at first i thought he was the backup goalie that was turco-ing people but i guess not

oh my god you’re adorable

okay Roman Polak is one of the defensemen on the team. He is kind of scary looking, but soft-spoken and a very nice guy. also czech! ALSO, cool story, he was born on the EXACT SAME DATE as david krejci. same year and everything. And they wear the same number. it’s very strange.

Anyways, in game 1 of round 1, this usually mild-mannered awesome dude punchisized Justin Braun’s face and everyone watching was like O____O SO THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MAKE HIM MAD. WOW.

(it’s sort of like how chara never really goes rage mode on anyone unless REALLY provoked. same idea.) So then the coach said “Don’t open the Roman Polak door” and then the internet sort of went nuts.
